OPINION- “Partnership” not working #1

OPINION

Sheepwash has been blighted lately by the use of illegal e-bikes and off road bikes. Let us be clear here that those riding through the reserve are not motor cross riders with “nowhere to go” as some deluded political prats have tried to make out and who would shell out tax payers money on creating some circuit that no one would want anywhere near their house because Sandwell does not have any land available. THESE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS INVOLVED IN ORGANISED CRIME.

Locks have been cut by masked up riders who have dumped stolen bikes on Sheepwash and rode off on a singe bike. Presumably, they do this to recover them later. At least three have been spotted by us in the last couple of years, and the police were called to recover them.

But this is a problem that the neighbourhood team in Tipton is failing to tackle. It is failing because the leadership of the sergeant there is shite. In fact, it has been a problem for numerous years with a revolving door of three stripes who are keen to progress up the career ladder. They are arrogant and dismissive of members of the public who report crime and no doubt happy with their two tier approach to policing passed down from their superiors whilst sidling up to the “faith groups” and political actors they are happy to be pictured with for mutual self publicity and public relations who get special treatment we have come to topically expect.

In Sandwell, we get a now twice yearly six weeks of this bullshit called “safer six”, where numerous shirk from home council officers pretend they care about community- they do, care, only the aforementioned block vote stated above. Some communities are more equal than others. For those reporting asb and in particular off road bike menace , it appears to be a wasted effort. “Tell us where the bikes are being stored” claim Sandwell council, “give us pictures and where they are riding and what times.” These are gaslighting tasking techniques where the public are asked to do the job of those who are failing at theirs every day of the week. Despite passport quality photos of those being provided to Tipton Neighbourhood team and Sandwell council, the response is far from that promised. IT IS DISMISSIVE AND ONE WHICH YOU ARE TARGETED AS THE PROBLEM- NOT THE CRIMINALS THEY APPEAR TO NOT WANT TO ARREST.

But more over, the pretence of “partnership working” which underpins the six week fiesta of lies is exploded when you look at the shift in blame between council and police. The police do quite rightly point out that SMBC should secure the site, which they have not. SMBC however claim that it is a police matter because it is a crime. The parks officers at Sandwell have failed to report acts of asb and criminal damage to the police on Sheepwash. I have been through a process called “the community trigger” previously, and its successor “the asb case review”, only to be frustrated in response by all of these so called “partners”.

I requested a meeting with the “asb town lead” for Tipton, Carla Powell, after the so called  “market style event” I looked at in the last post. She could not even manage that, and so failed communications and nothing whatsoever from her appear to have continued over the course of the last five months.

She also appears to have answered a complaint I made about HER not communicating by claiming to keep communicating! I can evidence the emails, texts and phone calls- her mobile apparently always switched off , she failed to respond to.

But it appears that not only do the asb team in Sandwell ignore residents reporting asb, they also cannot even be bothered to work with Tipton’s finest- and here is the smoking gun irrefutable evidence which proves every word I am saying. The dedicated neighbourhood officer for Great Bridge emailed the asb team at SMBC , without response!

still no response

The three new councillors for Great Bridge were also copied in to this email.

The network of crime and the routes used by these drug dealers and thieves, who also steal people’s phones etc using their stolen bikes, extends through the canal network in Tipton, West Bromwich and Wednesbury and beyond, and here are some social media examples of that.

N.B, the electric bike on the left of this picture was recovered on sheepwash.

Active in the Merry Hill area, and heading back home to Tipton

I would be very surprised if the Tipton Neighbourhood team were unaware of this gang from Tipton are committing these robberies and crimes across the region- and yet where are the arrests, the targeted operations, the crushing of bikes? The use of drones, smart water, stingers and traffic units chasing after them? These are not unreasonable demands, and the longer they fail to make these interventions, then the more it appears they are happy to let it continue. Is it a case as I heard one of these riders stating “they don’t want the paperwork?

Tipton appears left out of the so called “bidding” system and the targeted operations using the drones, off road bikes and other methods. But for some reason, Solihull neighbourhood team appear to have a no expense spared pass to all of these. So who is making that call within WMP or politically? WHY DO THEY MAKE BIASED CHOICES IN FAVOUR OF SOME AREAS OVER OTHERS? AND DON’T GIVE ME ANY FUCKING BULLSHIT ABOUT THE NUMBER OF CRIME REPORTS WHEN I HAVE MADE DOZENS ABOUT THE SAME AREA, PROVIDED PICTURES, TIMES AND IN SOME CASES ADDRESSES FFS!

“We are keeping up the pressure on nuisance and illegal off-road bike usage in Solihull.

Officers from the north of the borough carried out a proactive operation which saw a number of arrests made and vehicles sized.

The Chelmsley Wood and Smith’s Wood neighbourhood teams, as well as the Project Guardian taskforce, drones, Road Harm and off-road bike teams carried out their operation last weekend.

The operation saw two people arrested: one on suspicion of dangerous driving and causing a public nuisance, and the other on recall to prison.

Over the course of the operation, four off-road bikes and a quadbike were seized by officers.

Inspector Andy Bridgewater said: “We’ve been hard at work in the north of the borough tackling what we know is a real cause for concern in the community.

“These riders are a nuisance and a risk to public safety.

“We are well on the way to seizing our 100th off-road bike, and we will keep up our operations and patrols to keep the public safe.

“It is vital the public tells us where and when they see dangerous off-road bike usage, as the information we receive helps us build a clearer picture to plan our operations around.”

Dangerous and reckless driving of a vehicle in a public space will not be tolerated by West Midlands Police.

Vehicles will be seized and crushed if riders do not follow the law.

Offenders can also be arrested, prosecuted, and given a fine.”

And here is an example of what should be happening in Tipton- in particular, perhaps ditching them into the cut!

Facebook

Please Inspector Bridgewater, come to Tipton and Sandwell, because some of your colleagues there and in Sandwell asb team in particular need to be on their bike!
